Start the year with a practical check of dune plants and public access tracks.

## What to expect

Inspect agreed sections of fencing, note repair needs and remove small weeds under supervision. Finish with a short discussion of priorities for the coastal group’s next season.

## Taking part

This sample activity is hosted by Banksia Bay DuneCare. Meet at Banksia Bay south beach access for an introduction before the activity begins. Bring drinking water, sun protection and footwear suitable for the setting.

Ask the organiser about access, task options and weather arrangements before attending. Different activity options can be discussed to support participation.
