Explore farm trees, shelterbelt design and practical ways to connect habitat.

## What to expect

Walk a demonstration shelterbelt and compare planting positions, species mixes and follow-up maintenance. Discuss wind exposure, stock access and the value of linking farm trees to creek vegetation.

## Taking part

This sample activity is hosted by Red Gum Small Farms Network. Meet at Red Gum demonstration farm for an introduction before the activity begins. Bring drinking water, sun protection and footwear suitable for the setting.

Ask the organiser about access, task options and weather arrangements before attending. Different activity options can be discussed to support participation.
