Build a summer nature journal with drawings, plant observations and questions.

## What to expect

Choose a nearby observation spot and record what changes through the morning. Children attend with a responsible adult; materials and a seated observation option are part of the demonstration activity.

## Taking part

This sample activity is hosted by Young Landcarers Banksia Coast. Meet at Paperbark Reserve picnic shelter for an introduction before the activity begins. Bring drinking water, sun protection and footwear suitable for the setting.

Ask the organiser about access, task options and weather arrangements before attending. Different activity options can be discussed to support participation.
